Vehicle Detail

1965 Ford Mustang Fastback This car was originally a 6 cylinder T code car, but now the only thing 6 cylinder about this car is the T in the vin #. The car is as follows: Door tag data= 63A-C-28-030-32-3-1 Vin.# 5F09T655989 Engine: 302 V8 Roller camshaft Roller rockers Flat top forged pistons New Demon 3 two’s intake and carburetors with Demon air cleaner. Cost over $3200.00. Electronic ignition Fuel pressure regulator Ceramic coated Tri Y Headers Engine starts hot or cold with a touch of the key New aluminum valve covers Aluminum drive pulleys Aluminum radiator with electric fan with thermostat control New adjustable motor mounts. Transmission: Brog Warner T5 5 speed New 5 speed shifter that looks like original Ford 4 speed Cable clutch Competition clutch and pressure plate Shifts very smooth Rear end: The rear end is not original to the car it is a later model Mustang I think. It is a prostration with 3:73 to 1 gear ratio Car comes with a very nice set of traction bar that work Also has a working set of air shocks. Suspension and brakes: When the front brakes were changed from 4 lug original Ford 5 lug disk brakes were installed. The front suspension has been completely rebuilt with the following new parts: New V 8 coil spring and pad New upper and lower control arms with ball joints installed New spring perches New sway bar bushings Car was aligned and drives very nice 4 new style steel wheels 7’s front and 8’s rear New BF Goodrich T/A radials, front 215x60=15 rear 235x60=15 Exhaust is duels to rear and have new trumpets through the rear valance. Not sure what the mufflers are but sound very good Body: The paint color on the car is candy apple red. The paint is about 15 years old and it has some chips but still has a good shine. There is a small dent (nickel size) in left front fender at the top and near the middle. There is also a small dent (dime size) in the left door at the top in front of the mirror. There are a few rust bubbles at the rear quarters just above the rockers, none in the rockers. Front doors have a few small bubbles at the front down low. Front fender also has some small bubbles down low at the back. Floor pans are original and rust free except for driver side front, has been repaired. Frame rails are all in excellent condition as are the torque boxes. Hood is new with a functional hood scoop. Hood will need to be painted. New GT rear valance with exhaust portholes. New bumpers front and rear. New taillight lens and bezels. All glass and trim in very nice condition. New GT fog lights in grill. Interior: Seats are in good condition but not new. Rear seat is a fold down in good condition. Carpet is showing some wear and has faded in the rear glass area. Dash pad is good as is the instrument panel with the usual wear. Headliner is good but could use a good cleaning. Door panels are good, metal part of door interior need paint, faded and scratched. New hump hugger console Everything works on the car but the radio. Has a set of aftermarket gauges that work very well. This is a very good and a very fast car. Mechanically this car needs nothing. I am selling this car due to not enough storage space or enough time to complete the paint and bodywork it needs to be show.
