Vehicle Detail
This is my 1969 Triumph Trophy T25W. If you're looking for an entry level classic Triumph, this is a great start! Parts are fairly cheap, they are easy to work on, and they have nearly the same "cache" as the big twin Triumphs of yesteryear. It's pretty original and starts and runs decent. I just took it around the block and went through all four gears with no problems. The horn works, brake light works, headlight works, speedometer does not work (needs cable and sending unit which I think I have...it also need a chain guard to be complete). I have some manuals for it and a title from the previous owner (the shop manual is not complete). The title says that there is 4787 miles on the bike, but the speedo has been replaced since then, so it's probably more. The title is held as an open title, so it was notarized by the person that had it before me. The tires aren't great, but might be original. There is a little rust on the outside of the tank, but it has never leaked. I have a spare gas tank to throw in. Its an original bike and has never been restored. I would love to keep it, but I have three classic bikes (Norton, BMW, Triumph, and a BSA bicycle), so I need a different one for long distance. $1800 is a good deal for one of these. This one comes with extra parts and a parts manual and owner's handbook. I've done a ton of work to it including new seat cover, new fork boots, speedometer, oil change, new battery, new fuel petcocks, rebuilt carb, and more. On Jul-30-11 at 09:58:48 PDT, seller added the following information: This item was also listed locally before it went on eBay so seller reserves the right to end the auction if he gets cash in hand before the auction closes, so you should "buy it now." On Aug-02-11 at 17:02:39 PDT, seller added the following information: I had some questions and concerns about the "open title" on this motorcycle and the transferability of that type of title to other states. So, I went down to the Arizona Department of Motor Vehicles today and got a clear title transferred into my name.
