1979 Ford Mustang Cobra Hatch 2.3L Turbo 4 spd A/C and more. Very rare and hard to find combination Fair RESERVE bid it to win it ! dont regret you didnt later ! First year for the return of the Cobra Name to the Fox body UNMOLESTED nice example of the first model year. Odometer shows aprox 44k on it, could easily be original. Cars been barely driven since the 90s in a small town outside Tucson. Starts / Runs and drives and runs great for its age. But it is a 30 yr old + car thats not been restored yet. Could use a tune up Im sure and carb rebuild due to its age. 4 spd Trans shifts well too, brakes feel good, PDB Up front. Paint appears to be Factory still & interior too, both got sunbeat from being in AZ its whole life. What it didnt get, was rust. Most of the important trim and components all there making the restoration more Original and easier. Interior: Worn but original and shows its age from the AZ heat and Sun. FACTORY TINTED GLASS / AZ CAR Obviously this is not a restored car. Most of these cars were run into the ground and really USED up as you might expect them to be. This car flew under the wire and is stock as a rock. They are only original ONCE. Anyone can throw shiney paint and a bunch of off the shelf aftermarket parts on a car and say its "restored" But the value for your $ doesnt make worth buying. Ragtop Cougars like this restored back to the way it came off the showroom have excellent values. An ERA alot of us remember like it was just yesterday.
