You are looking and may be bidding on a custom cafe/racer 1975 BMW R 75 .It started out as a /6 and now I call it a "R 75/RS".... A matching # ,fully custom pro build bike for street or track use ; featuring : Ducati 750 SS 1974 new fairing/windshield ( streamlined),tomasselli style new clip ons, rear custom mashined pegs ,new Conti " Go" /inner tubes/tires, front and rear ,new custom build (from my own mold) race seat;shortened rear sub frame,( frame, swing arm, subframe media blasted/ etch primed/ coated in imron) ,new bearings, new pads, new fork slider, custom frond trimmed fender,new early style BMW speedo for street legal use,LED tail/brake lights ( bullet style), new grips, plugs, fuel line , rebuild 32 mm Dellorto pumper carbs w. new jets needles etc, new malossi velociti stacks ( carbs will work with standart intake elbows/filter /included) standart rear fender /subframe included (painted as the rest in high quality dupont base/2k clear coat 2009 GM "atomic orange effect" ),new speedo cable,new steering damper knob, new emblems, custom milled mashined upper tripple tree, new header/cross exh. pipes,new batterie/new light weight custom bat. box, new cusom fab. throttle/ choke cables, all bolts replaced with mostly allen/button head stainless, custom engine RS /S style included etc. etc. I spent the last 4 month and plenty of hours/dollars creating this show piece,The bike was completely taken appart /inspected treated recoated etc. I started the engine for the first time this afternoon and you can see a video of it on You Tube ( at sailnau search for BMW R 75 RS cafe) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oMfO-agc1dg I will try to create direct link later. Engine as original 44k miles and runs fine/no smoke, clutch gears brakes etc. aok. I will leave two suggestive pictures of how the headlight could look like ( the ducati shown in the last picture was the bike I build previously as racer/street legal use) The original headlight bucket is incluided in the sale. However I leave it up to the highest bidder to install his on choice of headlight for street use Also have not installed the tag LED light and licence plate holder ( will be added on before the auction ends) The restauration/paint work has been picture documented. The bike comes with a clear FL title and all the orig. parts that the bike came with. At this time it does not have a working tachometer ( picture shows as it would look like) I( am working with the manufacture of the nice speedo to have him build a few tachometers in the same style as the speedo (cable driven) it will fit straight into the duc. style new instrument panel that the bike comes with. the hole for it is not cut out yet in case you want to use a different style/diameter tach. I reserve the right to end the auction early since the bike is for sale local. I will not ship but will try to assist in loading making arrangements etc. ( 3 of my cafe racers went to Australia).The reserve is low for this kind of finish/work. I thought about a buy it now price but decided not to.
