Vehicle Detail

This 1968 Mustang was bought new in California by a friend of mines mother-in law who pampered it and garaged it every night. She drove it until 2001, then had the engine and transmission professionally rebuilt, as well as any other service that was needed. She then gave it to her daughter who in turn let her husband have it. He decided to completely restore it and take it to shows, so in 2002 he had a new Basecoat / Clearcoat paint job done that is close to the cars original color. This was the first and only paint job the car has had since new. It had no dents or rust at all. The undercarriage is in excellent condition with all of the rubber plugs in place. The chrome, glass, and rubber weather-stripping are also in very nice condition.. It really is a beautiful time capsule. In the 10 years after my friend got the car show ready it has always been garaged and only taken out for shows. He figures he only put a few thousand miles on it since all of the work was done, and it certainly drives and looks to be the case. Here is a list of the cars attributes: · Professionally rebuilt 289 2v engine and C-4 Automatic Transmission · New Power Steering Pump · Engine has Chrome valve covers with Chrome T bolts, Braided hoses, Aluminum oil stick, chrome air cleaner, and a Monte Carlo bar is installed for better handling · Pertronix Electronic Ignition with performance coil · Modern R-134a Air Conditioning - Cold! · Dual exhaust with Blue Streak Mufflers and Aluminized tailpipes w/ Chrome Tips. Has that great muscle car sound without being too loud · New Windshield · New Mustang floor mats This car really gets the attention, and is very fun to drive. I have checked everything and all of the lights, windshield wipers, turn signals, even the original Philco radio works correctly. There were two things I didn't get to work, and that was the horn and the windshield washer. Everything is all there, so it should be a minor thing to solve. The only thing to mention on the paint is a small spot over the left headlight that could be touched up. I have driven it around and on the highway, and I feel it is ready for a long trip right now. The Kelly Charger tires are 225 60 14, and look new. The Eagle Aluminum wheels also look new with new chrome lug nuts. I am sure I forgot some things, but the pictures will tell the rest. This car is in exceptional condition and will only go up in value. I will need a 500 dollar deposit at the close of the auction with the balance due by cashiers check, cash or bank transfer within 7 days. Checks will need to clear my bank before I can release the Mustang. Any questions just ask, and of course as with any used vehicle it is sold "as is". I can help with getting it loaded on a transport, or pick up the winner at the Medford, Oregon airport. It will come with a clear, numbers matching Oregon State Title in my name. I will also provide a bill of sale with it. If you want to see it, just Google TJs HotRods. The first video that you will see is mine. Clicking on that will take you to my other videos. The first one at the top of the list is the Mustang. Try to ignore the wind noise ;-)On Jul-23-11 at 14:43:39 PDT, seller added the following information: I uploaded some pictures of under the car and bottom of the door and a closer one of the trunk to show how clean it is to my Flickr account. I also put the driving video and the ad pictures there so you can see them in full screen mode. The only problem is ebay won't let me post the link to my flickr account; so if you want to see them, please send me a message and I can send the link to you. Thanks, TJOn Jul-25-11 at 09:53:29 PDT, seller added the following information: I just added a new video of the Mustang starting and revving up at the exhaust, that is now on Flickr. Again, either email me for the link, or just google TJs Hotrods to find my Flickr account. Thanks, TJOn Jul-29-11 at 13:48:22 PDT, seller added the following information: I wasn't able to change my listing when I noticed it said sell to USA only, but I will sell worldwide no problem. Same terms, 500.00 dollar deposit by Paypal with balance due by International Cashiers Check or Bank to Bank transfer. Cashiers Checks will take two weeks to clear. I will pay the transfer fee for the bank transfer; it is usually 45 dollars. It is the safest and quickest way to get the car paid for so it can be shipped immediately. I have been selling for 12 years on E-bay, have sold internationally before, and have always maintained a 100 percent feedback score. Buy with confidence. Thanks, TJ
