1973 Honda CB

You are bidding on one 1973 Honda CB500K2 500 FOUR, in good restorable condition. I bought this as a garage find, hoping to do a full cafe' restoration. I'm just not going to have the time for all the projects I've got, so I've decided to let it go. The engine is free, the brakes work, and the Metzler tires are in great shape. The bike was stored inside; the previous owner had begun breaking the engine down for restoration. I got it the way you see it; everything in the pictures is what is included in the auction. The carbs and headlight are all in a box (pictured), including 3 carb rebuild kits, and all the airbox assembly. There is no exhaust system, the tank is in pretty good shape but rusty inside, and will need cleaning. The seat is missing the hinges and lock; no keys. Clear Maryland title. Overall, this is a good project bike for someone who wants a really cool midweight cafe' bike. The CB500 is a very lightweight and nimble bike- this is also a very collectible model.
