shay 1981. 1955 thunderbird replica, built and sold at ford dealerships in 1980/81. fiberglass body, full frame, ford 4 cyl engine, 4 speed manual trans, those familiar with the shay bird know how rare they are, only 200 built before comp went under, est of 124 remaining, car needs some work, vehicle runs and lot drives, tires are dry rotted bad, wouldnt trust to go around block, brakes work fine as well as clutch and trans, lights work, as does orig cassette radio with power factory antenna, wipers work need new blades, missing front bumper plastic filler panel, needs parking lamps also, missing fender hash chrome on drivers side, needs a good cleaning, nice project car, engine compartment is dirty and needs much detail, factory ac doesnt work, remember car is 30 yrs old. any questions please ask. car does have a rebuilt tennessee title. currently registered in my name. thanksOn Jul-18-11 at 19:05:41 PDT, seller added the following information: also hood fits poorly
