Rare opportunity to purchase a 1980 300SD with documented 30 year history. We sold this car to a local doctor in 1981 with only 5,000 miles. He has owned and maintained it carefully since then while using it as a 3rd car. We have copies of a least 70 repair orders including over 40 oil changes. All mechanical systems operate properly. Engine and transmission are fine, this is not a worn out POS that was not maintained. AC ice cold. All power windows OK, cruise control OK, radio and power antenna OK-even the clock works fine.. Tires are like new. Has all owners books and original metal data plate. Not many owners cherish there car the way this one was, following is a brief listing of recent maintenance and improvements over the last couple of years. New OEM blue dash($1400.), New AC compressor and exhaust($1475.), New OEM blower motor($1200.). New shocks and climate control servo($1100.), New OEM rear window with invisible heater wires with gasket($900.) and fresh oil change 100 miles ago. Exterior paint China Blue code 934, interior Blue MB-tex code 102. Exterior repainted several years ago, interior all original. Some rust under left tail light and rust bubbles at the bottom of a couple doors and fenders. Trailer hitch installed for a small sailboat, bolted on-easy removal if you don't need it.
