Delivery Box Van for sale: This has the powerstroke turbo diesel engine. We tried to change the fuel filter which is located on top of the intake manifold, but the person who did the work did not get the filter seal right because it leaks fuel now. The Van starts fine, -even in winter, and has a relatively newer battery and can be driven. It seems to be down on power a bit, which is why we changed the fuel filter. Someone suggested that it might be a head gasket because they said this is a common problem with these engines. It does not blow white smoke.The windshield is cracked. We do not wish to have the van repaired, we wish to sell it as is. The box is in pretty good shape, the top right corner took a hit years ago and was patched, but leaks some water when it rains. The wooden deck inside the box is ok, but a couple small holes see pics. There are tiedown eyes along the edge of the interior, along with a perimeter rail. I have taken many pictures to show the condition of the van. It has a pull-out aluminum ramp and a heavy duty trailer hitch. The trailer wiring harness does not work too well. The van's brake and running lights need work, I am pretty sure most of them work. The tires are relatively new. Brakes are in very good condition and work pretty good, we spent over $1500 a couple years ago to replace much of the front running gear and make it driveable: It steers and stops fine. This is a great opportunity for a do-it-yourselfer to get a cheap box van and fix up. We are selling it AS IS with no warranties stated or implied. I remember the incedent: I had sent our driver Phil on a delivery down to Tampa with a couple of suzuki scooters for a couple of gents in a retirement complex down there- This is what we used the van for, bike deliveries. Anyhow, somehow on the beltway Phill managed to run some woman off the road and we had to pay all kinds of money to her for damage to her car. The van was basically damage free (scuffed the tires I think) but since the police were involved there was a report filed and the van's VIN was noted. The Van has never been involved in any major colisions or been needed to be repaired for such. It has seen service all over the eastern United States by me and my drivers for the past 8 years. It has been very reliable, but we have switched to using smaller vans with enclosed trailers.
