This is a classic 1968 Volkswagen beetle that is in good shape. This car has a decent paint job and has the following repairs or rebuilds done to it: rebuilt 1600 dual port engine, alternator upgrade, new carpet and seats, new window rubber and head liner, new brake system drums, shoes, wheel bearings, brake cylinders and master cylinder, new clutch and cable, new chrome wheels, new tires with 5000 miles on them, new bumpers and a 12 volt heater. I built this car for my Mom as a daily driver and she had a blast with it. She has recently picked up a new car that is why we are selling the bug. My mom bumped into another vehicle with the bus causing the damage to the left front fender. Also she bumped into a rock with one of the running boards denting it she is 65 and can't see well what can I say. This car is in good shape but will require some work to get it into perfect shape. This vehicle is sold as is so look at the pictures and ask any questions if you have them.On Jul-18-11 at 19:47:10 PDT, seller added the following information:I wanted to add to this listing that the floor panels are in good shape with little to no rust. The only rust damage the car had was the battery compartment. I ordered a replacement panel for this and welded it in. The heater was just added for extra heating and the car is equipped with heat exchangers.
