Beautiful 1959 Nash Metropolitan two tone coupe. Fresh restoration in the last few years and a bright summer color choice that brings smiles wherever it goes!!! I bought this little Nash a year ago for my wife and in the last year its logged in less than 100 miles. Purchased at a central Texas collector car auction (Kruse) we will let it go to a new home to open up garage space and hopefully someone who will enjoy it. Car overall has a great appearance. Clearly has fresh paint and a new interior. Tires, wheels are detailed and it shows very well. Just isnt driven enough!!! Mechanically runs well and brakes operate as they should. Three speed unsynchronized shifter/tranny on the column. Does need finishing touches that the next owner can tinker with. Clutch slave cylinder bleeds down and dash accesories need to be gone through to make them all operable. Speedo works and odometer works showing around 60k but who knows. I drove it about 10 miles Sunday when it was 100 degrees here and it ran cool. Solid steel body and the only sign of any past rust issues that I have seen are under the rear deck lid that I saw. Paint looks good for driver quality though I would respray the two door jambs. The reserve on the Nash is much less than our purchase price but the new owner can enjoy the car and we will move on to one of our other classic projects!!! Car is sold with no warranty expressed or implied. Recommend personal inspection by appointment if buyer desires. $500 dollar deposit through PAYPAL within 24 hours of purchase and full payment within 72 hours or deposit will be forfeited, vehicle relisted and negative feedback left. Please have funding BEFORE bidding. I have a clear Texas title from our purchase last year through Kruse collector auctions. I am transferring into my name and I will deliver (overnight) clear title to buyer when I receive it back in may name (usually 21 days or less). I will work with your shipper but prefer vehicle is picked up within 14 days. Car is for sale locally and auction may end at anytime unless "buy it now" is used.
