1970 CYCLONE GT (baby brother to the Cyclone Spoiler) code 65 Body 10,170 built back in 1970 1970 was the height of the Muscle Car era Probably a handful left in existance. This model was no exception and one of the coolest body styles made from any manufacturer !! If you are driving down the road and you see this in your rear view mirror: You may think that you are being followed by an Alien ship thats ready to eat you ! No one else had the cahonnies to make such a radical Front end treatment from the factory !! Original 351C 2v motor w/ FMX Transmission which makes for excellent driveability in town or on road trips. Motor sounds and runs well, but Im sure it need new plugs and wires soon mininum. Bucket seats, console, A/C, PDB, PS all make the car a perfect Candidate for restoration / resto-mod / or HRPT Car. Show up at a evening cruise event and watch the heads turn as you pull thru the parking lot. NO MARTI REPORT YET, BUT WOULD BE FUN TO GET SOMETIME Unfortuneatly this cars been neglected for the last 15 yrs the last owner just never had money to keep things fixed. Looks like he painted the car with a roller, and alot went downhill from there. So the car needs a good restoration. This car has actually been a Daily Driver for the last 5 yrs. I wouldnt call it the safest of rides, but it has been reliable and driven. Tires are worn, but the old Enkie Rims are cool. Suspension / Interior are worn out / body is fair / floors trunk and Chassis are almost 100% rust free !~ Glass all good except for chip in the windshield. Shackles are sketchy, this car needs to be lowered about 2" from the stock height !! Grill has some crackes, but headlights do work correctly. Over time the doors will rise up from a vacuum leak. Hood hinge, dr side bent pretty bad from knucklheads not knowing the correct way to close these hoods. INTERIOR: What you will see in the pics below is: Well used and it shows it. It will need pretty much a total interior resto from top to bottom, But wont need any rust repair to the floors Ive been all over and Under the car, and have pics to below to prove our claims. Check out ALL the pics below and you can see for yourself. Odometers not correct, but the AZ Title documents the car at 68,000 original miles.
