I was planning on keeping this car forever so the service list shows a lot of preventative maintenance. Solid Colorado car, no rust and no accidents, original paint (in poor condition), Euro bumpers and a spare complete engine. This car was my daily driver for a few years and it was always a pleasure to drive. It’s been sitting unused since November and it needs a new home. Manual Recaro seats up front look and feel great and the rear seats look like they have never been used. Carpet and headliner are both very nice, door panels are excellent and the gauges and lights work as they should. All 4 power windows function but the sunroof electric motor is not working. The sunroof can be opened (in both positions) and closed manually. A/C was charged 3 summers ago, and worked at that time, but is currently in need of a re-charge. Exterior is very solid, no accidents or rust. Paint is original and clear coat has pealed, car needs to be re-painted. Body has a few minor dings but overall very nice. Uninstalled Euro bumpers, a bit beat up and mostly complete but serviceable. No rust on floors or rockers (I have been under this car a lot and it is very clean). Windshield is cracked, all other windows tinted (professionally tinted, they still look great after 3 years). Sony stereo (detachable face, IPod input jack) and Alpine speakers (stock sizes and in stock locations, front and rear). Rear window defrost, heated outside mirrors and heated door locks all work. Stock BMW 850 wheels and centers in excellent condition (center caps need new BMW stickers) with 80% Yokohama Avid tires (225 50 16). Missing one windshield sprayer (it mounts on the hood and is aimed at the passenger side of the windshield. It broke and I never replaced it). No tools in the trunk tool kit but the rest of the trunk & panels are in good shape. This car drives and stops very well – the brakes are even and responsive, though the brake lining wear indicator light recently came on and I assumed the front linings needed replaced so I bought new pads and sensors. Upon further inspection, it is the rear pads that will need replacing. I will include the new front pads and sensor with the car but the new owner will have to replace the rear pads and sensor (it’s an easy job). Engine starts easy and runs strong, clutch works as it should and the transmission is tight. Included in the sale is a spare M30 engine complete with accessory's remover from a 1983 533 with 150xxx mi in excellent running condition (car was rear-ended).
