This is a beautiful 1991 Mercedes Benz 350SDL Turbodiesel long-body sedan. This Mercedes has been with me for 7 years and has been very well treated and maintained. I have personally done most of the maintenance, such as all fluids, filters, brakes, and belts. I belong to the Mercedes Benz Club of America and have participated in its annual DIY tech sessions with this car. There is an original Becker radio in the car, along with a Kenwood 10-CD Changer mounted in the trunk. There have been no accidents or damage. The engine runs smoothly and is very strong. The automatic transmission shifts perfectly. All tires have excellent tread and the brake pads are fine. The oil and filters were just changed. I can verify all of the following items: All of the power windows/door-locks/antenna/seats and mirrors are working correctly. The heater works well. The stereo and speakers sound good. All of the gauges and instrumentation are functioning properly. There aren’t any service or warning lights on. The Black paint is glossy over the entire body. The exterior of this Mercedes is in good condition for a 20 year old car with some imperfections and a small rust spot by the front headlight assembly. The wheels are custom and clean (see pictures). The interior has been well maintained. All of the leather surfaces are soft and supple. The front seats have been covered by lambskin and are thus practically new. The carpeting is clean. All of the trim panels and trim pieces are intact and tight. There are 2 issues: 1. The air-conditioning has not worked for the past 3 years and this could be because of a bad compressor or a leak. I checked for leaks a while back and did not find any. 2. While the sunroof motor works the sunroof does not function properly and needs some work...there could be some minor mechanical work involved. This is a nice and practical car and a good candidate for biodiesel. I am nearing retirement and recently had an open-heart. Therefore I have decided it is high time that I got a new Mercedes.
