Up for Auction: Smokey and the Bandit Special Edition 1977 Starlight Black Pontiac Trans am This car has had no major work done and is just waiting to be made over. It is a little rough around the edges on the exterior but the interior is in excellent condition for its age. This car does run & drive just fine but needs some TLC. However, it is probably one of the nicest all original cars around. My dream was to completely restore this car to its Smokey and the Bandit glory. But... my wife, kids & mortgage come first. I hope I am lucky enough one day to be able to own a car like this again. The documentation is unreal as I have everything listed below and more, right down to the original odometer reading. The documents speak for themselves and the car isn't to shabby for being 34 years old. The hood release is broken, the trunk release actuator works but isn't hooked up. There is no headliner as anyone around these cars know that they do not last. The car does have rear defrost however the window was replaced without a rear defrost window. The car has air conditioning, but there is no belt.
