Vehicle Detail
1964 Oldsmobile Cotner/Bevington Combination. 60,715 miles. 394 Rocket Engine. Clear title in hand. I’ve replaced the upper and lower front control arm bushings and the battery. I’ve installed a Federal 176D beacon with clear dome and red, clear and blue bulbs. I also installed a pair of period correct red Unity grille lights on the bumper. Everything works as it should. It has had one repaint that I’m aware of in the original Saddle Mist color which is almost gold. The original interior is Pecan Brown and Antique Stone. I know the rear flooring was replaced once and is in really good condition. I also added color matching seatbelts to the front. It has a Federal Model 28 siren under the hood. I know how fast this car is but I’m not telling anyone. It comes with the stretcher, four spare hubcaps, a complete set of 5 shop manuals and anything else I’ve acquired since I’ve had the car. The paint is fine, the chrome is all excellent and all electronics work as they should. All of the curtains are in very good shape and are clean. The passenger side rear door glass is cracked and the rear bumper has two small rust holes, one on each side, that are currently covered with silver tape which looks fine in my opinion. The coach does not have a/c. The engine is clean and there is no smoke when starting or running. The tires are in good shape as well. I’ve won a 3rd place trophy and a 1st place trophy with this coach in the time that I’ve had it.I reserve the right to end this auction early as the car is also for sale locally. Please do not bid if you do not intend to buy and/or pay. I will report negative feedback if needed. If you have any type of problem with this transaction please contact me directly so we may attempt to resolve any issue(s) that you may have had and I will certainly do the same for you. I have attempted to describe this car to the best of my ability however I am not an automotive expert and make no other claims other than what I have previously listed. There are no warranties, either expressed or implied, and as with any other purchase the buyer should obtain all information possible before making a purchase. Local inspections buy potential buyers can be arranged and are encouraged. I will not disclose the reserve price so please do not ask but it is a fair price for such a rare and beautiful professional car. On Jul-09-11 at 09:49:03 PDT, seller added the following information: 17 more pictures added!!! When I pulled the coach out this morning to take the additional pictures I discovered what appears to be a radiator leak. I doubt seriously that I'll be able to get my mechanic on it before the auction ends. I just want all bidders to be aware of any issues before purchasing. Also, if you have a feedback score of less than 5 your bid may be deleted unless you contact me first. On Jul-10-11 at 15:02:14 PDT, seller added the following information: The water pump is going bad. I discovered it on Saturday when I pulled the car out for more pictures. This is the leak that I originally thought was a radiator issue. Water pumps are available from Rock Auto and USA Auto for under $100.00. I have found no other issues with the car.
