This 2002 Mercury Grand Marquis was given to me about a month ago from an old friend of mine. It was a daily driver. He is in his 50's/ It was actually his fathers since new and he has died so his son has had it for the past couple of years. I have hundreds of documents of oil changes, light bulbs changes, tune ups, you name it they did it. They always had it the work done at Mercury. Normally people bring it to a local place becaue its cheper but not this older man. The vehicle is in VERY clean shape!! It has 128,000 miles on it. The engine runs peferfect. Starts like a dream. Turns right over. Power everthing. Big nice power seats. The driver seat has a small rip in the seat. I tried to take a picture of it. Also there is a scratch on the back driver side fender about 6" inches long. I tried taking a picture of that too. Might come out with a nice wax job. The back bumber also has some normal scratches. The car for the year and miles will have normal wear and tear but i would say is better than normal condition. The tire tread on all tires is above normal. the spare tire is a full size and is new! The only negitive thing I can think of is the check engine light is on. I have no clue. maybe a 02 sensor or something, I have no clue. I dont know anything about cars lol. The guy who gave me the car said he didnt care because it would be on and then go off and then go on and then off so he just left it alone for a long time since the car drove fine. He got a sticker a few months ago and the shop told him that the next time he gets a sticker he will need to get front end work done. I do not know what that means. Does that mean struts? Ball joints? Bearins? Because of this I am keeping the price cheap so you can get bring it to your shop and get whatever needs to be done in the front end done and have a pefect car. I am more than happy to let you come see the car before the auction ends. Please bring a friend that knows about cars too! I am all about that.. If you want to have a shop look at it im fine with that. It doesnt have plates so I am not sure how you would get it there but I am willing to help in anyway I can! Whatever is good for you i am fine with. I have never done this but I am a very honest person and want this to go as easy as possible. I deal with paypal only because it is the safe for you and me. I do require 500.00 down within 24 hours of aution ending and the rest paid withing three days either in cash in person or on paypal. ( oh yes, and the owner told me that the aftermarket cd player doesnt work. The AM FM works just not the CD player. I will look at it and see what I can do. I havent even looked at it. I was just given the car, but I wanted to tell you everything I know aabout the car that I do) I also am getting a new battery at walmart for it! It is costing me 110 bucks so you will have a brand new battery. It is in need of one. The owner said that its the original he thinks and its super old and every couple of weeks it goes dead. I'll just put one it. Local OnlY . I will no ship! Sorry I have put the reserve at $900.01 . This is a STEAL but I was given this car and do not need it and must get rid of it.
