For Sale - 1940 Chevrolet Master Deluxe 2 Dr Sedan This is NOT street rod material.. Restoration of this vehicle was started in approx. 1984. This was a labor of love by the owner's father. He watched as the car was pulled out of storage and wondered WHY ?? :):) Every nut and bolt was taken off and the entire frame was sandblasted and restored to original including the wood grained dash and the window trim. It still has the originally restored 6 cylinder engine. The vehicle was driven for 2000 miles after the restoration and has been in storage in a cool dry place since then. It has only been taken out and tested every couple of years to make sure everything is still in working order. Three speed on the column (clutch) There are no spare parts As of June of this year this vehicle has had a complete inspection by a local shop and is in good running condition. The owner is no longer in the "collector's scene" and wishes to sell. This vehicle was appraised at $14,000 around a year ago. Please feel free to make any serious offers.
