1997 BMW R-Series

Hi I am selling my 1997 BMW 1100R Roadster with ABS. It has been serviced and well maintained over the years. There are less than 5,500 miles on the bike so it has been barely even broke in. That is about 400 miles a year. The bike is completely stock from top to bottom. The condition of the paint is excellent. There are no scratches or dent in the tank. There are a few scratches on the handlebars but they are very minor. The seats are in perfect condition as well as the tread on the tires. If you are not familiar with this bike it has alot of cool features. First it has ABS which is a great safety feature. It also has shaft drive with a single sided swing arm design. Those are just a few of the features this bike has to offer. There is a set of saddle bags that go with the bike that are easily removed with the turn of a key. I also have a winshield and helmet that will go with the bike. This bike is in excellent condition from top to bottom. Please feel free to email me with any questions. Best handling bike I ever had. Bike underwent complete dealer (DeSimone BMW in Mt Laurel NJ) maintenance in 2008. Including new paint. It does not have heated grips. The saddlebags are stock BMW hard (plastic) bags that are keyed to the same key as the ignition. Tires were replaced in 2008 Color is BMW mystic red Windshield is Memphis Shades Demon Work done in last few years: Brakes, fuel filter, fuel pump, new shocks, fuel sender, swingarm bushing, etc. Bike has not been ridden since 2008. No time. Helmet is size 4 (23.5") and color is burgundy. Included is original Owner's manual and spare key. ALSO being included is an Airhawk seat cushion (bought in 2008 for $160) and not used.
