1984 Chevrolet El Camino...two toned exterior with gray interior...right from the beginning here, this car is by no means a 100 point show car, its intent at this point is just a great driver..the car turns heads at every corner..the paint scheme is a real eye factor along with the set of 15" American Racing rims with P225 50 R15's up front and the Lamborghini size huge P295 50 R15 bringing up the rear. The front and rear of the car have a California Custom Conversion, the exhaust is real nice with the dual chrome pipes, the rear bed is solid and has been sprayed with thick rubberized hardened bed liner (can be painted any color).... The body is rock solid underneath, however it does have some rust along some very lower portions of the doors and behind the rear wheels and on the very leading edge of the hood..please check the pictures for details. The door hinges and structure of the car are rock solid...The interior is very clean..the seats are original and very nice, no cracks in the dash, door panels are excellent..again, study the many photos below (even Betty Boop would love this one !!). The real strong point here is the mechanics of the car...79,229 miles original miles..the motor was changed to a factory crate Chevy 350 20k miles ago, the automatic transmission was completely rebuilt and is bullet proof,,,brakes are perfect, suspension solid..car starts at first bump of the key..runs and drives like a bear..I would not hesitate taking the car from here in Florida across country..that dependable and solid..this is a factory A/C car that has been converted to R134 as per the stickers...the A/C blows cold and must have a very slow leak as it holds the charge for about a month ...please keep this auction in perspective, as I mentioned above, some of the panels need some body repair..the car is rock solid underneath and is a mechanical tank, that strong and solid..I priced the car so CHEAP, there is tons of room to attend to the body..or better yet, just cruise, cruise cruise !!!
