The Town & Country up for auction is a 2005 in great mechanical and driving condition. The engine is the larger 3.8 liter V6 and has an automatic front wheel drive transmission. The vehicle is all power: power locks, power windows, power sliding rear side doors, power rear lift gate, power driver's seat, power passenger's seat, power adjusting brake & gas pedals. This has been my wife's everyday driver since March of 2009 when it had 91k miles. We purchased it from a local Chrysler dealership. It was a trade in on a new Town & Country in 2009. We are the 2nd owner and have had it ever since. We have driven the van 45k miles since March 2009. The only things I have had to replace on the van were both front lower control arms, power steering rack & pinion, oil pan gasket and tires. It is mechanically sound and there are no leaks or problems mechanically. I personally completed my own 33 point visual inspection that I perform all vehicles before I sell them, so I know exactly what kind of vehicle I am selling. It's been checked in the air on a rack for leaks, wear, tear, etc. This vehicle has been well taken car of by us and the only reason I am selling it is because we bought a newer Grand Caravan. The air conditioning blows ice cold and the heat blows hot. It also has digital rear auxillary heat and a/c controls. The stereo works great and plays CD's, cassettes. It also has a factory DVD player with a six disc DVD changer conveniently located below the climate control on the center of the dash (see in pic). There is also a remote control you can use to access the DVD player from anywhere inside the van. All the seats are intact in the interior. All five of the rear seats can be folded down into the floor for maximum cargo space behind the two front seats, known as the stow 'n go feature. The seats are leather and have no holes nor rips. The tires are not a matching set, but they are the same size. The front tires are Mastercraft's and have about 95% tread life remaining (we bought 4k miles ago). The rear tires are Michelin'shave about 50% tread life remaining. See pictures for treadwear. The van has rear park assist; sensors on the rear bumper cover to let you know when you're close to bumping something. It also comes with a pair of head phones for the DVD player if you don't want to listen to what your kids are watching on the DVD screen. Two keys/remotes will also come with the van. There are no negative things worth noting with the Town & Country. It truly has been a great van for my family. We drove it as far as Albuquerque, NM to visit family and I wouldn't hesitate to drive it there again today. I'm sure it will serve your family for many more years too.
