Ok, this is the 2nd time I’m listing this Boxster. I understand that many of you are weary of the true condition of used cars sold on eBay, so I decided to alleviate your concerns and erase any doubt of the condition of this car by taking care of the 60k Service and having the entire car fully inspected—at a cost to me of $2,200. See scanned docs. Work was done at S Car Go Racing (San Rafael, CA--http://www.scargoracing.com/), one of the (if not the most) premier Porsche tuners in Northern California. And if that’s not enough, Rob King (owner) said he would personally vouch for the condition of the vehicle to anyone interested (just mention my license plate number of ‘1TOYBOX’). If you’re serious about bidding on a Boxster, then you probably already know the basics of the 1999. But here they are again, with the specifics particular to this car: 2.5 litre six cylinder mid engine with rear wheel drive 5-speed manual transmission 58,721 miles Arctic Silver exterior & Boxster Red Special Leather interior New 18inch Carrera 5-spoke wheels and new wider tires: 265-45-18 rear, 245-50-18 front H&R lowered springs H&R larger-than-OEM swaybars New stainless-steel race pedal set w/ dead-rest, just installed w/ 60k service New front shocks, also installed w/ 60k service – rear shocks checked out ok per inspection report Billet aluminum ball shifter Heated seats 10-disc CD changer (I know, old school—but functions flawlessly) Infinity & JBL speakers: 6x9’s in doors, speakers in shelf behind seats, speakers in dash, dual-MTX amps…. à $2,000 spent on sound system alone Boxster insignia SST-door sill plates Porsche Windstop (deflector) On-board computer Excellent, unfaded power top Meticulously maintained and garaged kept Summer car only (as apparent by the mileage) Have all receipts in a thick manila envelope Original sticker showing all options and total price of $48,048 The only flaws are: 1) An almost imperceptible bump on the front bumper, behind where the license plate would go (see picture), and 2) slight and normal wear on the left side-bolster of the driver seat (again, see picture). Other than that, the pictures show the impeccable condition of the car. And in addition, you might see that I’m the second owner. However, my brother was the first! We wanted to keep the car in the family—so essentially the car has never been out of family site. And he too, can vouch for the condition (number available upon request).
