Vehicle Detail

I am selling my 1937 Chevy Master 2 door sedan. I purchased it from a friend that has stored it in a dry shed for several years. It has the straight front axle, not the knee action suspension. I changed the oil, replaced the fuel pump, spark plugs, points and it fired right up using fresh gas. I put it in gear and drove it a short distance and the water pump started to leak. The brakes have lost the pressure and will need attention. It appears that the car was a driver when parked in the late 90's. It was painted once over the original paint with no apparent signs of any body work done. Just a repaint. All the glass looks real nice except for the 2 rear side glass and passenger door glass would need replacing. Car is very original and has not been restored. Has good tires with original wheels. Has the original GM key and it works great in the door lock and trunk lock. Dash is unmolested complete and original. All the guages were operable when running. Has the cats eye cig. lighter, clock, and "Chevrolet" heater. Also has an optional defroster heater mounted in center of firewall. Body has a few typical rust spots, driver front floor and rocker area and the bottom of tail pan. Otherwise very solid car. Nice floors and trunk floor. Nice rust free doors and trunk lid. Very nice front clip. Very complete. Has the front bumper bracket covers. Overall, very straight car, however, body has just a few small dents that look like they were there before painting. May be noticeable in pictures. Running boards are quite straight and very rust free. Top covers are missing. I removed the headliner, carpets and door panels. Seats have excellent frames. Solid useable wood, as shown in pictures. Interior is complete needing all new upholstry. I have the headliner bows, nice sunvisors and rear armrests are still in place. Doors are complete needing weatherstrip. Original wiring should be replaced. Overall, mostly complete car needing restoration work or a great candidate for street rod. I have a clear SD title. Email or call with any questions. I can also send more detailed pictures upon request. Winning bidder is responsible for transporting. I can assist with loading. $500.00 deposit by Pay Pal required within 48 hrs. of auction ending and balance paid within 7 days by bank check or cash. Buyer must contact seller within 24 hrs. of listing ending to confirm payment and transporting intentions. I can store vehicle inside up to 30 days if necessary.
