1996 Impala DCM (Dark Cherry Metallic) for sale!!! This car has been maintained with care in BONE STOCK, ALL ORIGINAL configuration!! This is just what purest auto buffs want for cars in their collections--or, for those who love to modify and personalize their cars, but do not want to undo someone else's mods! The seventh generation Impala (94-95-96 models) were the last Impalas built on 'B' frames with rear wheel drive. This, combined with the LT-1 engine putting out over 300 ft-lbs of torque made this a true, fun to drive muscle car. Dyno records available; Mobil 1 oil since 250 miles and thereafter. 1996 Impalas had a well known carpet wear defect and when quality issues were resolved by GM I had the carpet replaced under warranty at 18,487 miles; air conditioner compressor replaced under warranty at same time. Warranty work at 29,888 miles included full flush and Dex-Cool replacement. Some UV discoloration on top of dash; driver's leather seat has wear hole and abrasion; small paint imperfections including some spidering on bumper. AM/FM/CD, power seats, center console with shifter, leather wrapped steering wheel, analog gauges are some of the things that made the 96 Impala the year of choice. 1996 Impalas also have 17" cast aluminum wheels with high performance P255/50ZR tires, decarbon shocks, 4 wheel disc anti-lock brakes. The power, performance, and stability of these cars is well known; less well known is the fact that they are rated at 17 MPG city and 26 MPG highway! Original and only owner (other than GMAC/bank) (Note: Mileage reported as 60,300 at time of release of lien due to documented keystroke error; was in fact 6,030 miles.
