Vehicle Detail

1965 VOLKSWAGEN BAJA BUG This is a relist. Ebay cancelled the last listing because I had my web address listed. I guess it's against policy. Sorry Ebay....so sorry! I am far from an expert on Volkswagen's, but this 1965 Baja sure is sweet!!! I bought it recently from a man who spent a TON of money on it and pulled it behind is RV. He claimed it hardly has any operating miles on it since built. The car looks awesome inside and out....though not perfect. It’s pushed by a high performance 1837 duel carbureted motor. For a VW...it screams. The transmission is tight and the brakes, brake lines etc are new. The clutch feels good and the steering....tight! The body is really nice and the original floor pans are as well. There is a small patched area where the battery sits. Speaking of battery...the car has a high dollar yellow top gel cell battery in it. The paint look really pretty damn good...there is a area on the drivers side front fender where some jack ass keyed it. It’s about 12 inches long. There’s also some cracking of paint on the glass fenders in a few spots. But am being a bit critical. The interior is extremely nice featuring high-end bucket seats and door panels that appear brand new. The carpet is very nice...headliner looks good and the dash and steering wheel as well. The needle on the speedometer is broken and the CD player isn’t powering up. But the past owner pulled an amp for the stereo out before selling the car to me and likely disconnected the power to it. It’s an easy fix I’m sure. The tires look like they have lots of life left in them except the front passenger side, and I have a matching replacement that goes with the car. The aluminum wheels look great too!!! This car has clearly had over 10k invested in it. Please feel free to write or call me with your questions before bidding please. I can be reached at 808-205-8414. The car is located in San Antonio Texas. Good luck!!! I do not accept Paypal for payments over $500. Deposits only. I will not be accepting trades.
