Ive been hanging onto this car since 2006, basically moved it from one storage place to another. ive had plans of restoring this car, these 70s are my dream cars but the funds arent here, nore have they been in a long time. CAR IS FROM VIRGINIA, HAS VIRGINIA TITLE! this is Not a real z28, it just has z28 badges. COWL TAG READS: ST70 12487 BL 23964 711 58 58 (PAINT) 05E 843948 290268 1970 camaro 350 v8 th350 auto trans. 10 bolt open rear. engine was supposed to have been rebuilt in 2006 before i took delivery. written papers say engine kit estimated at 450hp, says engine was blueprinted/balanced, has double humped heads as well, trans supposed to be rebuilt with bnm holeshot converter...i have no proof of any of this, this is just what i have been told. the engine runs good, car has new flowmaster exhaust (sounds awesome!) trans acts funny to me, the car wont move unless reved pretty high. trans leaks oil from the dipstick, may just need oil I DONT KNOW...ASSUME ITS BAD!. CAR IS NOT DRIVEABLE....YES, NOT DRIVABLE! ENGINE RUNS, BRAKES WORK BUT TRANS IS BAD. the body of this beast needs to be redone, before i got it they packed the quarters full of bondo. the doors look solid, fenders are decent but have bone on the lowers, tail panel is good, FLOORS ARE VERY NICE, trunk pan was replaced and looks great, the main car is very very solid and in great shape. rails are solid. tires are junk from storage, they seemed to have blown apart on the front, they hold air but leak down in a day. OR LESS! some idiot put a sunroof in the car, i have another 70 roof that goes with this car, its not perfect but theres no sunroof in it. the interior is all there, ac dash pad is perfect, gauges need some repair to the tabs, the seats are oem 70 models and in fair shape but the front will need covers to look nice. the carpet was new in 2006. 70 model auto console with shifter in great shape.
