this is a real 1973 datsun 240z. dmv made a mistake when creating the registration and put 1974. i was told by the previous owner that it was possibly a 73 that was sold in early 74. i will try and get it fixed. The vin starts on this car starts with HLS30, a 74 260z starts with RLS different numbers. no leaks, clear title, full tune up done recently. all lights work, radio wipers, horn etc. almost no rust. only a little surface rust in the spare tire wheel well. none in dog legs, trunk etc. mods/upgrades: all new weather stripping new window guide rollers full suspension urethane bushings installed tokico shocks w/ arizona z coilover springs/sleeves car can be slammed down to the ground if you wanted to msa upgraded sway bar BRE urethane front air dam zccjdm tie down hooks new full magnaflow exhaust msa stage 1 cam rebuilt motor with even compression throughout all 6 cylinders rebuilt su carbs petronix electronic ignition MSA upgraded fuse box new battery and cables autometer oil pressure gauge new heater core and blower new brakes new tie rods urethane steering coupler new driveshaft u joints + more i am forgetting To be a perfect car it needs: drivers and passenger floor mat carpets as well as trunk mat new tach (as it goes straight to 8k rpm when the ignition is armed) i have 2 extra stock tachs but i have not had the time to replace it (included) a/c / heater core hooked up (have not had the time to) alignment horn pad other auto meter gauges if you want to go that route i have the stock clock and other misc stock parts box which are included with the car. has door ding in drivers quarter panel other than that, the car runs excellent and would make a great daily driver if you want to use it as one or could make a sweet weekend cruiser. i get around 22 gallons with it. the 240z gets ALOT of positive attention and i get comments from people almost every time i drive it.
