1962 Ford Fairlane 500 Sport CoupeRare bucket seat model!I am relisting this classic car only one more time on a three day auction! This is not that common of a car and is a great project and more then worth the small investment to purchase this great car. Thanks and good luck bidding!The bad........Car needs floor pans all the way aroundComplete interior need to be donePrevious owner dropped the fuel tank and put it in the trunkThey also replaced the pick up screen with a straight tube and removed the sending unit.I would call this a 30/30 paint job, 30mph at 30 feet it looks ok!Obviously needs a paint job!Windshield has crack in lower right side, hopefully shows up in picture.Rest of the glass is in ok condition but the tint needs to be replaced as it looks like crap!Needs new rubber for the entire car.Mileage is unknown and none of the gauges are hooked up at this time.The good.......Car runs, drives and breaks work fine. So you can drive this while you restore it.Car really turns heads going down the road.New mechanical fuel pumpNew starter relay switchJust rebuilt the Motorcraft two barrel carberatorBrand new electric fuel pump still in the box. I purchased this and was planning on getting a new fuel cell to put in the trunk to clean it up and replace the mess the previous owner did.Have all the interior parts except the center console.Stainless steel traction bars (in trunk) Very little rust in the front right fender and door that is pictured and a little on the right rear fender.Hopefully I have remembered everything, but please feel free to ask any questions and I will get back as soon as possible.This car looks a lot better then some of the other ones I have seen on eBay and I'm not looking for a rediculous amount for the car!Will consider delivering for $1.25 loaded mile up to 500 milesI reserve the right to end the auction early as it is for sale locally.Good Luck and happy bidding!!!!!!ADDITIONAL NOTE.......I found a guy in Casper that has a 62 Fairlane (not a 500) that I can get the front bumper, all four floor pans and I believe toe kicks, another lock for the trunk, hood spring ( forgot to list missing one) and a couple of other small parts for 350.00. If he still has them and you pay the additional amount if you are the winning bidder, I will go pull them off the car and include them.
