up for bid, one Honda TLR 250 trials..ultra rare here in the US...hell rare anyplace, this bike is the real deal, its said that Honda didnt ship any of the 250,s into the US..some were imported by other means, as this one was, a true survivor, has been sitting in a barn for at least 20 years,the fellow i got this bike from has had a couple hard strokes, and is in his 80,s and cant speak very well, but used to ride at the amature level in the local trials club in the 1970,s and 80,s, and liked Hondas, i have picked up some nice original bikes,, went through the carb, and replaced the jets, took some doing, but she fired up, after a fresh oil change, good fuel and a strong leg. has some dings and scratches as it was likely rode for a couple seasons in the local club trials in the 1980,s no big damage on the skid plate ect, runs great , likely the carb will need some fine tuning, clutch works great, easy to pull, runs strong, no smoke or noise, this one has a nice after market muffler, lights are not hooked up, this bike has gobs of power, runs real nice, i installed a new are filter, the original was toast, i had planned on keeping this bike , but another bike has come my way,,, that sweet little BSA in the background., warranty? no,,pretty much a rear fender guanantee, once i cant see the rear fender the the warranty is over, this is a used dirt bike, thats 27 years old, and had ben sitting for 20 of those years, so its sold as is...its dirty, scratched, and has some light rust, dents ect...its old and used..
