Vehicle Detail

Hello! Up for auction is my 2008 Triumph Thruxton which I bought new from the dealership here in Reno, NV. I am the only owner and the title is free and clear. This has been a very good and reliable bike and it was my first motorcycle. I am now looking to get something bigger and better for touring. The bike has roughly 16k miles on it and runs very strong. It is 100% reliable. I have changed the oil every 3k miles since buying the bike new and changed the oil at 1k when I purchased the bike. Approximately 1.5 years ago I went down in soft gravel while riding on a street that was being repaved. The bike suffered no serious damage but there are scratches on the engine covers, exhaust, speedo, tach and headlight housing. The pictures provide show the damage. Other than cosmetic scratches and wear from riding/enjoying the bike, it is well taken care of and garaged everyday. I have done a lot of mods to this bike and hope that I am able to remember and describe everything. First I would like to state that the bike has no turn signals or horn what so ever. I removed them and the housing for the signals and horn off the handle bars and you can not switch from hi to low beams because this was on the same switch on the handlebars. The head light and the brake light work perfectly. I installed a British customs fender elimination kit which has the brake light underneath the license plate. The rear suspension was replaced with Ohlins shocks and the front suspension has Ikon fork springs, both purchased from newthruxton.com. The mirrors are CRG lane splitter mirrors. The exhaust is a Bubs 2 into 2 exhaust and sounds great. The bike also has an AI removal kit and the carbs have been tuned to the exhaust and intake. I just recently changed the chain to a new EK Quadra-X ring chain and also change the front and rear sprocket. The front tire still has a good amount of tread left but the rear tire needs to be replaced soon. The bike also has a Scorpion alarm which I installed and goes off when the bike is moved. I changed the tach and speedo backlight to a red light and the headlight is new as well. The gas cap was changed out to one with a key lock. The bike was originally silver in color but I painted it to a semi gloss black. There are some areas on the front fender and seat cowl that did not come out perfectly, but I think it looks good. I'm sure I have missed some little stuff but the pictures show everything pretty well. Please understand that the bike has cosmetic wear but runs perfectly and has been taken care of. I require a 500 dollar deposit through paypal within 72 HOURS of the end of auction and the remaining must be paid by USPS money order or in cash when you come to pick up the bike. Winning bidder is responsible for arranging pick up of the bike from Las Vegas, NV. I am still riding the bike so it may have a few more miles on it than the pictures above show. Take care and good luck bidding!
