You are bidding on one 1977 Honda CB750F Supersport motorcycle in pretty good overall condition, but needing restoration. The bike was running up until 6 months ago; the starter stopped working, and I can't get the bike to kick start either. The engine has good compression, the battery is good, and the lights come on. Nevertheless, the bike needs a really good restoration to get it up to snuff. The tank has some rust and could use a good cleaning, the rear brake caliper is inoperable due to a broken bleed nipple- I got the wheel unstuck, but it will lock up if I use the rear brake. The front brakes work well. The seat is pretty well gone, and I'm sure there are a bunch of other things that need to be fixed or replaced, as is the case with any restoration project. The exhaust is all there, it's just not very pretty. It has a new clutch cable, and the front forks were bled and new fork oil installed. The wheels, engine and frame are all in very good condition considering the age of the motorcycle. I've gone through the wiring, and everything looks pretty stock, with typical age to the connections looking like it all needs a good clean up on the terminals. I have not gotten into the starter, so I can't really say what is needed to fix the starter; it very well could be a matter of cleaning some terminals to get it working again. This bike comes with a clear title, the original owner's manual (missing the cover, and a little rough), and the original tool kit that came with the bike new. To sum it all up, this is a pretty complete bike, with a clear title, that is quite worthy of restoration. Being sold as-is, with no warranties expressed or implied. Feel free to ask any questions.
