Imagine walking into your local Chevy dealer in 1968 with cash in hand to order the perfect Camaro… First, you would pick out your drive train, a 375 HP 396 and, next of course you need a 4speed. To make sure all the power gets to the ground, you would pick out a 12 Bolt pozi. With this you will get an SS, but you also want looks so you order an RS package with all the bells and whistles including a deluxe interior and consol gauges. For the outside of the car, you would pick out the best color with was only produced half the year….lemans blue with a black vinyl top and a black hockey stick stripe! Now, here it is 2011 and this car is back up for sale! After a $50,000 ground up restoration, everything is new or rebuilt with original date-coded and numbers-matching parts!!! See photos of actual parts with all the correct numbers still in place. This car is almost perfect. No disappointments. The only thing a person might do is get new door panels. Current are nice, but not perfect like the rest of the car.
