For Sale: 1962 Dodge M37/Power Wagon This vehicle has been partially restored and fitted with a Cummins 4BT turbo diesel. Along with the diesel, a SM465 4 speed transmission was installed. The truck is in good shape, with only minor rust. It has been driven atleast weekly for the past year, and is now ready to move to a new home! The engine runs good, and will pull the house down. The oil pressure indicated at idle is about 10lbs, and moves up to 25 or so when going down the road. There is no engine noise, and it nevers runs over 180deg. Transmission shifts smoothly, with a new clutch and pressure plate. A new starter was installed recently also. The body of this truck can be viewed in the pictures and feel free to ask questions at your lesiure. It has new windshield glass, and the windshield frame is perfect! No rust. The Glass in the doors is original and unscathed. Troop seats in the bed are not factory original, I built them and they have been used a bunch! Kids and adults love to ride, especially in the woods. Tires are in great shape. They are Michelin 11.00x16's with a spare tire. Drive train: All the running gear to include transfer case operate flawlessly. Brakes are great and new! (wheel cylinders, master cylinder, hoses, etc) This truck is currently registered and drives whenever you want. Negatives: Still haven't hooked up the charging system. I never really worried about it, because of the truck being diesel, it doesn't use any electrical power short of cranking, which is minimal. All the lights work, I just don't ever drive it at night. Shipping: If you are are the winning bid and are within 150 miles, I will deliver the the truck for free. Anything over that distance, I will deliever the truck up to 500 miles one way, for a fee that we agree upon. Or you can choose another delivery option.
