Vehicle Detail

1950 Studebaker pickup truck with clean clear title. No engine or transmission, if you are looking for something to chop, these Studes are very desireable as they have lots of curves on em, flat glass and look good when done up right. Very little rust on this one, a bit in the fenders, but all very repairable. The right front fender is a bit rusty thru and I would suggest replacing it, but it can be repaired, I just don't have the time any more to get that deep into repair. The cab is in pretty good shape for 61 years (funny how we all say that like it means something), but honestly, the cab is in good shape, there are some holes in it and some small dents, but I didn't see any rust thru, rear fenders have some cracks, but repairable, doors look good and bottoms seem to be good also, I didn't spend a whole lot of time on it, but I don't buy junk either, iffen I don't think I can make it work, I don't buy them. I have about 19 projects going now, so I have to pass on this one and concentrate on my others. I'm not totally sure if it has a steering box as I see the sector shaft laying in the bed, has the radiator and the r/f fender is in the garage, being debated on if I want to get into repairing it. Not a real high reserve ($500.00) and I'm open to offers, trades etc (no horses or motorcycles) I have to break even or even make a little bit, but as I need the room in my yard, it's gonna go. (There are three buckets of misc parts with this, gages, switches, handles etc and the headlight rings with the small clearance lights are in good shape also) Call me on my cell anytime up until 6:00 pm (mountain time) 575-494-5119 Thanx, Dave On Jun-15-11 at 21:10:52 PDT, seller added the following information: Went thru the buckets of stuff and found a good gage set-up complete with panel and switches, two wiper motors (both with the control cables),headlight rings, 4 headlight buckets, the steering box(has the sector shaft out of it, but seems to be in good shape with all the bearings in a bag etc) two more window wing vents, two center of windshield chrome strips, door handles, extra glove box door, clutch and brake pedals, master cylinder, big gob of nuts and bolts etc. I also spent a half hour with a torch and made the R/F fender usable, still has the Studebaker rust near the edge, but it can be salvaged now. Tailgate needs some work
