For sale is a Refurbished Toyota Diesel Land Cruiser (1986 HJ60) VIN JT3HJ60G7G0034709, Rust Free, Diesel, 5-speed, rebuilt engine, and refurbished to a factory shine. Toyota’s HJ60 was built with longevity in mind, using a 4 liter high compression 6 cylinder diesel with indirect injection. This car will achieve 25mpg with 27hwy. The engine design will allow it to be run on Bio-Diesel and/or vegetable oil, etc. This is a very flexible vehicle, can be used for daily driving, camping, family hauling, and expedition trips. Manual everything, cloth interior, 5-speed transmission, and heavy gauge steel is standard. This car will outlast Armageddon, you can refuel at your burned down burger place on your way from Seattle to New York (with veg oil tank installed of course). This car received attention from top to bottom, including a new frame (due to rust), rebuilt engine, lift kit, 33” BFG All Terrain tires, and some paint work including undercoating to prevent future rust. The engine was rebuilt by NC Machine in Vancouver BC using OEM Toyota parts prior to the project. The engine then was torn down at Torfab, painted, and put together with new seals, belts, and hoses. We cleared the engine bay and painted the panels before re-assembly. It received a new clutch, rear main seal, hoses, batteries, battery cables/tie-downs, and frame paint. Front axle was rebuilt with marlin crawler inner axle seals, new brake rotors, and new Koyo trunion and wheel bearings. Birfs were regreased, and knuckle assembly/wheel bearings were installed with fresh grease. The vehicle had undercoating from a previous owner. All this was removed to uncover any rust on the body, no rust was actually found, so new undercoating was sprayed throughout. I left the trans hump with factory color paint (as seen in pics) to avoid any undercoating on/around transmission and transfer case. ARB Old Man EMU medium lift kit was installed along with new polyurethane bushings. This lift kit provides about 2” of lift, and a much smoother ride with better articulation for off road. 33” All Terrain tires were with the car, and were reused as they have over 65% tread on them. These tires are preferred for smooth handling on road, and tough performance off road. ARB Bull bar was installed on the front, this is designed for use with either a Warn 8274 winch, or most 8000 lb winches on the market. The interior received newer front seats, rubberized front floor mats, and an Alpine stereo with Ipod hookup and aux inputs. The shifters have custom “one off” shifter knobs made of palm wood. OEM shift knobs can be used at buyers choice. Everything was detailed as seen in pics, as the interior was never abused in this car, it was in excellent condition.
