This is for a Very Rare Custom ordered 1976 Chevrolet 1/2 ton "shorty"c-10 Scottsdale factory 454 short bed stepside truck.This truck was special ordered in 1976 by Mr Carmack in Notasulga Ala from Frazier-Hall Chevrolet in Tuskegee Alabama on Feb 23 1976.This truck was 5842.26 NEW.It is baisicaly a SS truck of its day.I have posted a copy of the original sales invoice along with the build sheet from the glove box.The build sheet states all the original options.SEE PHOTOS****Take time to read it.This is a very unusual eqquiped truck.The truck Runs Great and is Very Quick and Strong.The Hankook 275/60-15 tires are fairly new.The fronts are 90%,to the good,and the rears are 50%.The oldschool american racing turbines are still in good shape.It will roast them at will.The 454 was rebuilt several years back but has been run little since the rebuild.It is supposed to be the original motor but there are NO #s on the front block pad at all.The motor has a mild cam,headers and a edlebrock carb sitting on the original low riser intake.It is dry and has no funny noises and hold Great oil pressure.It runs cool thanks to its original 4 core radiator.The truck has a 3.73 posi rear end with a turbo 400.It has the bolt in yolk with a short 2 piece driveshft from the factory.This is a factory A/C truck but is missing the compressor and brackets,everything else seems to be here.It has power steering and power brakes.It has factory gauges that still work.Overall the truck is very solid and straight.The only real rust is in the passenger side outer rocker skin.This is a easy fix.The cab corners are excellent as are the doors and fenders.Even the battery box is good.What you see is what you get,Nothing is hidden.Most all the other rust seen in the photos is just surface rust from sitting.The step side bed is still very nice but the wood will need replacing.There is NO rust in the bed at all.This is and has always been a ALABAMA truck.The truck has been painted once back the original color but someone added silver metalflakes to the paint.It was painted back in the late 80's.The interior is still pretty much original.The dash is cracked and the steering wheel is not original.The old school radio and under dash amp still works and sounds descent.This will make a killer pick up restored or just drive like it is.*** Keep in mind this is NO gas miser.It would be best to have it transported to you.With the gearing it has it is NOT freeway friendly.Overall,This is a very rare little truck.I have all the original books and and paperwork.This is not a cobbled together truck.I have alot more photos if you would like to see anything else.Ebays system will only let you load 24.Just ask and I can send them to your email address***The buyer will be responsible for transporting this car.
