How many UNTOUCHED 59 convertibles have you seen lately? A REAL BLACK with GRAY interior and a white top, and still has its original #'s matching 348 in it too! This RARE 59 impala runs and drives as well! This convertible was bought from the original owner here in Denver. It was an original demo car for a dealership in Denver. The miles are real at 96000 and the car is ALL THERE all the way down to its T3 headlights! The 348 runs smooth and drives down the road nice. The interior is gone unfortunately as per the owner before me said a racoon had torn the top and thus the weather destroyed the seats and the rear floor pans. The front pans are still nice and solid. The body mounts on the car as well as the frame are nice. The headlights do have the normal rot around them. The quarters can be salvaged, but will need the lower area repaired. Trunk pan is in good condition but there are areas with some rot but for the most part its solid. The doors fit like a dream! They close with no effort at all and fit nice. The front grill never got pitted up, the bumpers will of course need re chromed. All the trim is on the car. The one impala emblem you see off the car is in the box with the original hub caps. I even have the original wheels, sandblasted and also you can see they are correct dated kelsey hayes rims. The windows go up and down as smooth as the day it was new. All glass is on the car and none of it is cracked. The original windshield has no cracks, the steering wheel is in good shape. All electrical works on the car, the power top even has hints it would work. All the gauges work as well as the turn signals, lights and interior lights. The transmission shifts like it should and as stated before the motor runs smooth. I have put a new fuel tank and fuel pump on the car but everything else is original. Options on this RARE care are, power steering, power brakes, padded dash, and of course the 348 4bbl. This car IS THE ONE if you are wanting the best for a 59 impala convertible.
