I am selling my titled, insured, and registered early 1936 Ford Three Window Coupe. All indications suggest the car has been here in the Southwest for years when purchased by me. This ’36 was built years ago as a very mild hot rod using neat hot rod components. There are No remake parts on this car except the battery hold down and front drums. And though the car is nearly all original, it has the following vintage hot rod stuff that bolted right in…no modification, welding or extra holes drilled anywhere: · Original 1941 Lincoln/Bendix brakes –all new tubing, master cylinder, braked shoes, pins, springs, and wheel cylinders, original backing plates and drums in the back, new remake drums in front…stops on a dime. · 1937 steering box which is so much better than ’36. Bolts right in original mounting holes etc. · 1937 thru ’48 rear end with 3:54 gears for highway speeds. · 1939 rebuilt transmission. Again bolts right in existing holes and mounts and much better than ’36. · Original factory 1937 fire wall that provides compartment for battery rather than hard to access under front seat. Bobby Walden did this for me in Pomona, CA. Walden’s Speed Shop did all minor metal work on this car which was minimal except fire wall. Bobby had car dipped and all existing paint removed to bare metal and painted with PPG epoxy primer. Only superficial rust and pitting ever on car. · All shocks were rebuilt, new Firestone tires on original 1940 wheels. · Unaltered frame with no extra holes or welding painted gloss black. · Body is perfect except driver door that has three shallow dents. Front right fender was repaired by Bobby as well. All other fenders are perfect. Body doors, hood, and trunk fit and finish is excellent. Reskinned trunk lid yet to be painted with hold open. · Doors have NOS door open and window regulators. · Rear roll up window and front works very well…front air vent too. · 1948 59AB engine has less than 100 miles…factory 4” Merck crank and new very mild cam…all Egge pistons, guides, adjustable lifters, valve, fully balanced etc. · Large 97 carbs on Edmunds intake all rebuilt by the best..Jere Jobe · Radiator by Harry and Sons in So Cal. · New seat springs. Original Benton grey dash and garnish moldings with nice working gauges. · Have nice spare tire package with deluxe lock and key. · New Fenton headers and Smitty mufflers provide a nice sound. · Car wired with original factory wire…car starts immediately. · Include new running board rubber and Le Barron Bonney interior package.
