Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is my 2000 SAAB Viggen. It's a 5-door. Silver, 211k miles. I am the second owner and have owned the car for about 5 years and it has been a great car. I used to commute over 100 miles a day, but don't any longer and I would like to get a trailer for my vintage SAAB project so this has to go. It gets great gas mileage (Avg. 34+ when commuting), has tons of cargo space and is plenty fast when you need it to be. The car really has been trouble free for me, only work I've done is routine oil changes (Mobil 1) and routine maintenance items (serpentine belt, filters , etc). No sludge problems common with irregular oil changes. Car drove well, no funny vibrations or engine noise. A/C blew ice cold and seat heaters worked great in the cold! The car was my daily driver up until its registration expired last September and has been sitting pretty much all winter. The battery had died, but I just replaced it with a new one and the car started right up.The car should be able to be driven anywhere with a fresh tank of gas, but it needs attention in a few areas. The clutch pedal feels a little light, and does not always return all the way up now. Either the clutch master is worn or the fluid needs to be changed/bled. I was able to start it up and move it around the driveway, it was just a little stiff getting into gear. There is a crack in the windshield from road debris, it's pretty high up and not really a line-of-sight safety concern. Motor mounts feel a little soft and probably should be checked if you're going to do any high performance driving. The interior is in great shape. Rarely was there a passenger in the front , let alone the back and I don't smoke or have dogs. Climate control is missing a pixel on the temp display, but you can still tell what it supposed to say. The drivers powerseat moves in sort of a funny way, it starts and stops like someone used a flasher relay or something. I never cared to investigate as I rarely moved the seat. It all works, just a little slower than normal. The exterior is in fair condition, expected of its mileage , a couple of hood chips, misc small scratches and a crease on the rear fender from a parking lot bump-and-run. Also, I had the front air dam repainted since it was a little cracked when I got it, but the paint has chipped in a few places. A little bit of surface rust under where the rear fender bumper strips go. There was only one fog light when I got it and I never bothered to replace it either. Photos should fill in the rest. The car also comes with a separate set of 16" snow tires with good tread. Summer tires are fairly new and are on aftermarket 17" wheels with great grip and plenty of tread. Being a rare SAAB I'm hoping this will go to an enthusiast who will give it the care it deserves. The car was never modified and I always used quality OEM parts. Good luck and happy bidding!
