hello: Up for sale is my 1965 Ford Mustang 6 cyl. automatic. I bought this car with the intention of restoring it, but school and work have taken over most of my life. Also the reason I'm selling her is that I need the room to park my new Toyota Truck. since I live on a apartment complex I only have one parking place Now to the car, the good: She is in very good condition, if you are looking for a parts car look somewhere else. this mustang needs very little to be a driver. The engine starts right up (though with a small delay when you turn the key, not sure what it is) the engine and tranny were rebuild last year. It has a new gas tank and a Holley single barrel carb and a cherry bomb exhaust (sounds awesome). wipers, head lights, turn signals, brake lights, brakes, interior light, all electrical with exception of the radio is in working order. body is solid, interior is clean, it has no headliner but I have a new still on the box, headlight vessels are not installed but they will be included with the car. It has a used instrument cluster that I bought on Ebay (its clean with no scratches) it just needs to be hook up. Clean California title and 2 keys will be also included. air cleaner it is not shown but it will be included with car. Tires have plenty of tread left now the bad: She has some surface rust on the roof, (easy cleaned up), the hood vents on the cowl were covered with bondo since water was getting into the passenger compartment it may indicate rust inside the cowl, (cowl section can be purchased on ebay) easy to repair for someone with enough time and some little welding skills. Some unfinished body work on the right side (by the side scoop). Plates expired on august 2010, steering wheel is missing the horn assembly, one hub cap has seen some curbing damage. busted parking light. missing emblems on the hood Overall she is in very good condition, it would make a nice father and son project.
