You are looking at a 1993 Mercedes 300CE Cabrio. This model is the last of the coach built Mercedes, and is a rare, sought after model. This car was sold new in Long Island, NY and was sold by its long term original owner to a dealer in Florida, who sold it to me. I purchased it as a second/weekend car, and it is used sparingly. This car is a driver level vehicle. It is well sorted mechanically and runs very well. All of the major mechanical components function as they should. It has new tires with less than 500 miles on them. The cosmetics on this car are not perfect, but are generally sound. the body is in very good condition with no major flaws. There are a few very small dings, and a rust spot the size of the eraser on a pencil, with has come out on the trunk lip. The paint is no longer brilliant. There are no major flaws in the paint, and it is by all means acceptable if you choose to just leave it as is and enjoy it, but it is getting a bit faded and could benefit from a repaint if you want it to look perfect. The interior is in better than average condition, with no flaws to the leather other than some minor abrading on the drivers seat bolster. The carpets are fine, but the drivers side original floor mat has lost most of its backing and needs to be replaced. The gear is broken on the drivers side seat belt extender and while the motor works, it no longer extends. The top is in very good, leak free condition, but the headliner has a tear in it. There are a couple of small plastic pieces that are are either missing or broken. The surrounds for the sunvisor arms where they connect to the windshield are broken, the clip that holds the rear headrest button for the rear seat passengers (mounted on the back on the center console) has come loose and the trim piece on the rear package tray where the roof locks down onto the package tray is missing (thanks to my mechanic). These are minor items which do not detract greatly from the overall package, and I have over 100 pictures of all aspects of the car, and of of all these issues on line for review.
