1995 Mazda Miata MX-5 - One Family Owner Click to View Image Album Click to View Image Album Click to View Image Album This Montego Blue 1995 Miata, nicknamed Penelope, has been owned by the same family since its purchase in December 1994. The car was originally purchased by me as a Christmas present for my late Mother, who really adored the car. Penelopes title was transferred to me when several years when she became ill and could no longer drive. It has 70,492 original miles. The car has the Mazda 1.8 liter 16 valve DOHC engine coupled to the short throw five speed manual transmission. Penelope is well equipped with optional air conditioning, factory optional AM/FM/FM stereo/Cassette/CD player with eight speakers (four in doors) and the optional four speakers in the head rests. It has optional Leather Package which includes tan leather interior; tan convertible top; leather wrapped steering wheel; cruise control; power antenna, mirrors, steering and windows, head rest speakers, torsen limited slip differential and alloy wheels. It includes aftermarket rubber floor mats which protect the original optional Mazda carpeted floor mats. It also has an aftermarket bra and car cover. The car has been virtually trouble free. Penelope has been extremely well cared for, receiving oil changes at factory service intervals or more frequently and for many years with synthetic oil. It has been serviced according to the factory service schedule and has had its timing belt replaced with Mazda parts. It has also had an airbag replaced under a factory recall a few years ago. The tires are Firestone Fuzion 185/60 HR 14 Speed Rated (H speed rating 130 mph) Tires that have a 40,000 mile warranty. The tires were purchased when the car had 61,237 miles (9,255 miles ago) so they have most tread remaining. The car has been always garage stored since new. It has never been driven in the winter. Other than a couple of very minor dings and scratches the body is in excellent condition. The interior is also in excellent condition with the only known material flaw being some wear on the edge of the drivers seat (see picture). The car comes with original Window Sticker, Owners Manual, pre-delivery reports, original bill of sale, complete service records and other documentation. The car is being sold as is with no warranty expressed or implied. Potential buyers are encouraged to come and inspect the car at my warehouse in Billings, MT where it is stored. The reserve is set a a reasonable price for a car of this quality. The car must be picked up in Billings, MT within 21 days of the end of the auction. At least 50% of the winning bid is due with three business days of the end of the auction via PayPal, cashiers check or wire transfer. The balance is due via wire transfer or verified cashiers check upon pick up. Overall, I think you will find this one of the nicest 1995 Miatas around.
