I HAD MY AUCTION ENDED EARLY FROM A BOGUS OVERSEAS BUYER. I VERIFIED THROUGH EBAY THEY WERE NOT LEGITIMATE, SO HERE I GO AGAIN. I'M RELISTING MY CAR. I HAD 77 PEOPLE WATCHING THIS 1965 MUSTANG OF MINE WITH 1296 VIEWS. IT ONLY HAD A FEW HOURS TO GO BEFORE IT WAS ABRUPTLY ENDED. LAST BID WAS $17,100. LETS DEAL! PLEASE CALL WITH ANY QUESTIONS. My background: I have an Associates degree from Ferris State University in automotive service and a Bachelors degree in automotive and heavy equipment management. I’m a Michigan State certified mechanic. I have 27 years experience in the automotive repair and restoration field. I own and operate a Pennzoil 10 minute oil change center as well as a used car lot at the same location. I inspect all of my vehicles from head to toe. I will fix any and all issues (if needed) on these vehicles before they are sold on my lot. I only sell issue free vehicles. I try very hard to only sell “1” owner vehicles in perfect shape needing nothing but a driver. Fresh body and suspension off restoration- #'s Matching!! My feedback speaks as to exactly what type of person i am and what kind of business i own and how i operate! I have a “1” owner 1965 special order mustang for sale. This car has 46,683 original miles on it. The engine is a #'s matching "A" CODE 289-4V (V-8) with a manual 4-speed transmission, manual brakes and steering. Has new brakes (disc brakes front and back), tune-up and all fluids have been flushed. Everything mechanically is new. This 1965 mustang is as nice as you will find anywhere. This car runs, shifts, drives and stops like new. Interior is spotless-(new). Exterior is in excellent shape (all new). Engine and transmission were taken out of the car and had all new fluids and gaskets replaced (where applicable). New clutch pack, disc and bearing. Both engine and transmission were inspected at that time and were found to be untouched not rebuilt in excellent condition. Engine is still the factory built engine as well as the transmission. It shifts flawlessly smooth and the engine revs up and back down immediately (excellent compression). This mustang is not a quick paint, rig it up and flip it vehicle. This car is 100% original from the factory with a few nice touches. Shelby steering wheel, pony door panels and GT rear exhaust valance. Performance exhaust manifolds with x pipe dual exhaust throught the rear valance. Exhaust sounds awesome. I have ALL the factory parts that were replaced with new parts. I also have the factory center console, a/c unit and all needed parts to make the a/c blow cold. I didn't want the a/c or console in the car. I wouldn't use either and i like the clean look inside, but again i do have all parts to go with the car. I bought this car for me to die with it. Because of the ever changing economy and world situations i have been forced to sell my car collection and reinvest into my business to keep it growing. My all #'s matching 1 owner 1970 ss elcamino 396 4-speed was sold to the vise president of IBM. My all #'s matching 1 owner 1972 monte carlo was sold to the engineer for the nascar red bull racing team. My 1979 chevy 1/2 ton short box with a zz4 engine and stock turbo 400 was sold to dave thomas car collection (founder of wendys). My cars are for people that are serious about owning prestine perfect, collector and antique original cars. This car is a barrett jackson type car. I work long and hard finding these type of quality cars for my own collection. The history on this 65 mustang is as follows. It was special ordered new in 1965 by a gentlemen in california. Car was kept in his garage at all times and only driven occasionally for fun. This 1965 mustang was special ordered with a 289 4V, 4 Speed transmission with a rally pac guage package, center console and a/c. He owned this car until his death in early 2008. It was bought by an engineer-air plane mechanic from utah. I have written "1" owner for the important reason that (on paper their are 2 owners but only for a quick year and a half) all miles were driven by original owner. He owned the car just long enough to take it apart and put it back together with new parts. He only put a couple miles on the car before he sold it to me. He has family whom were neighbors of the first owner. He would visit family in california and had always told the owner of this car when you want to sell, call me please. Well he past away and the sister inherited the car and then sold it to randy, the second owner. He completely rebuilt/replaced the entire suspension on this car. He became overwhelmed with his business work load and found he would not have time or the energy to finish this restoration. He sold this car and his bmw and bought a new 2011 dodge challenger. Interior is completely brand new as well as the paint job. The body is as solid as you will ever find. Stripped down to bare metal (i have all pictures of full proceedure) and repainted to the factory vintage burgundy. Absolutely no bondo added anywhere. One small quarter size hole in passenger side of the quarter panel. New metal welded in. Windows were taken out with entire car stripped of its parts, weather stripping and panels. This is the right way of restoring cars. No money spaired. I have over 100 pictures showing this restoration from head to toe. In my 27 years of restorations this is the nicest body i have restored. I HAVE A CLEAR TITLE. California car and garaged its whole life. The frame, floor and trunk pans are rust and accident free. We left the original paint from 1965 underneath the car and in the trunk. The floor and trunk pans are as solid as the day it rolled off the assembly line. There is not one issue with this car anywhere, nothing needs aligning, tweaking or finishing. ALL lights and mechanicals work excellent. One of the nicest 1965 mustangs money can buy-period. Feel free to send any mechanics or body shop buddies here to inspect the car. I have pits to drive over and jacks to lift up the car to view anything you would like to investigate. Never anything to hide at Rollin Auto Sales!!
