1999 VW Cabrio You are bidding on a 99 VW cabrio in good condition. We are the second owner of the car. Car has been a daily driver to and from work for the past 5 yrs so most of the mileage is due to a 70 mile round trip commute 5 days a week. The car has always been well maintained with regular oil changes and service. For a car this age it is in pretty good condition overall with only a few minor interior and exterior issues. The car drives well and i would not hesitate to drive it anywhere. I will detail all of the issues the car has below along with all of the recent things that have been done. This is going to be a no reserve auction and is sold AS IS due to the age and mileage of the vehicle. Buyer is to pay a $500 deposit after sale and pay remaining balance via cashiers check or cash at the time of pickup. Buyer is responsible for picking up vehicle or arranging transportation within 7 days of auctions end. Recent work to vehicle: New strut tower bushings, new wheel bearings, tires replaced in the past year, new fuel pump and fuel filter, new motor mounts, new plugs with wires and distributor cap. Things that will need to be done: Radio needs to be replaced as seen in picture, a/c does not work (compressor turns and moves freely, but does not blow cold air), clutch will need to be replaced sometime in future. ( if you really get on it and accelerate hard, the clutch slips some) I have been driving the vehicle with the aformentioned issues for about 2 yrs. with no issues but to really get the car back to great condition, these things would need to be fixed. Everything else on the vehicle functions correctly with no issues.
