Vehicle Detail

---NO RESERVE AUCTION ABSOLUTE SALE--- ---RE-LISTED STARTING BID $500.00!!!!--BID NOW! UPDATE: With respect to the "AUTO-CHECK" "ISSUE FOUND"-- The vehicle shows a reported minor accident. I asked Mom about this and here are the details: Another vehicle backed into her car in a parking lot and minor damaged was sustained to the front bumper, and passenger sided front fender. Damages were minor and cosmetic only; the Toyota was repaired professionally after this event. For somebody that can repair the motor or swap a new one into her this will make a good daily driver and all-terrain SUV!!! Surely it should sell now with such a low starting bid. If it does not, then we will just repair her and send it back to Nevada where Mom will gladly welcome it! She does still like her 4-Runner. Please bid with confidence and ask any questions as we will try to answer them promptly! FOOTNOTE: The skid-plate is missing a bolt as you can see from one of the pictures. We will get that corrected prior to delivery! 1992 TOYOTA 4-RUNNER 4WD: I am selling this Toyota for my mother-in-law. The car was purchased "used" by its current owner in 2001 from Pederson Toyota in Fort Collins, CO at which time the vehicle mileage was reported as 128,543.00. To the best of my knowledge this SUV has been a western (Colorado, Nevada) vehicle its entire service life. As a result the body and undercarriage are fairly dry and free from any significant corrosion/rust. The paint and interior show average wear as this vehicle was used for camping, fishing and mining trips. There are the standard dents, bumps and scratches associated with the outdoors. It has served Mom well and always been very reliable. The standard "5-speed" transmission, 4 wheel drive and lifted suspension have been handy in both austere landscapes and adverse weather. The tires are a fairly recent purchase with several miles of usage remaining; they are a combination "off-road/street" tire with fairly aggressive tread design. I consider this vehicle to be the perfect outdoorsman's SUV. ITEMS NEEDING REPAIR: This section of the advertisement is meant to convey major items needing repair. This is not my personal vehicle and as such I am uncertain of every "little-detail", however, I can tell you the engine will need mechanical repairs. Weld County Garage in Greeley, CO diagnosed Mom's 4-Runner as having "LOW COMPRESSION" on two (2) cylinders. She had driven over to Colorado for a visit and noticed a marked reduction in power and gas mileage on her trip. I checked the car out briefly and replaced her spark-plugs which did yield some improvement, however, the vehicle just did not make enough power (for my peace of mind) so we had it checked at the shop listed above and due to its age and miles Mom bought a newer car and drove home. The right tail-light assembly is broken, too- it happened here while in storage. I stored Mom's car over the winter until she decided whether to repair the 4-Runner or dispose of it. Mom has always owned Toyota trucks and SUV's and she was reluctant to part with this car. All things considered (except for the motor issue) most everything had worked just fine on the vehicle including good, COLD A/C. It has an ELECTRIC WINCH installed on the front bumper and as stated its suspension is slightly "lifted". This SUV also has a bumper-pull trailer hitch ( I am uncertain of its tow-rating). The interior and exterior show average wear for its usage and age. Mom is a NON-SMOKER. In summary: the 4-Runner needs an engine overhaul in my view to provide long term reliable transportation. The rest of the car is in pretty good functional condition- after all Mom drove it in its present condition from Fallon, NV to Fort Collins, CO. That being stated, I would not recommend driving long distances on that motor with two (2) down cylinders. The battery is discharged presently, but with a fresh charge this SUV should start right up and it will drive. I just CANNOT recommend a very long trip due to the motor. Please email or call if you have specific questions on this 1992 Toyota 4-Runner 4WD SUV: Kevin White, (970) 980-6278 cell. TERMS OF SALE: Cash Sale ONLY upon pick-up and PAYPAL ONLY for deposit at end of auction. Shipping can be negotiated if needed but must be pre-coordinated with the seller prior to submitting a winning bid--OTHERWISE you must pick the vehicle up from the Fort Collins, CO area yourself. The title is clear. A $200.00 non-refundable deposit is required within 48 hours of the end of auction; vehicle pick-up within 2 weeks of end of auction is expected unless other arrangements are mutually agreed upon.
