2008 FORED E350 EXTENDED SUPERDUTY VAN This is a 2008 E350 used by the border control to secure our boarders. I don't think there is a comonent on the van that has not been changed at least once! Becuase this van was used by Homeland security, the maintence program is as strict as they come! Every component is changed at it's own time or miliage interval regardless if it is bad or not! This is to assure these vans are always in top condition when on duty! I had 9 of these vans come in at the same time. They were almost identical! I kept 2 for myself and sold 3 others to family members and friends. The van shows 182k on the odometer but when you look at it you will think it has 40k on it. The van has windows all around but were covered with white vinyle so you can see in. Inside the van is a complete cages system that makes this van as secure as they come. They are not breaking into this and stealing your merchendise!! The cage system alone was $4400. It also has a flood lights on the roof by the rear and side doors. It has a rear AC blower unit that can easily be removed or kept for keeping the cargo area cool in the summer or warm in the winter. Mechaincally, the van needs nothing. The engine was completely rebuilt at 148k miles. The transmission was rebuilt at 162k. In the past 12 months the following parts were replaced. fuel pump, starter, alternator, ac compressor and accessories, master cylinder, suspension, power steering pump, gear box, font end components, all brakes including calipers, wheel cylenders, rotors, pads, hoses. The alternator is a high output sever duty alternator. All other components are either OEM or top of the line name brand parts. No corners cut. If you are looking for an extended cargo van, you will not find a better deal out there. If the odometer showed 80,000 miles, this van would be worth about $15k and you would have 3 year old, 80k mile components! This van has components with a fraction of that!!
