Vehicle Detail

I am selling my very rare, crew cab, 4x4, 6.2L diesel, 3500 truck. This truck is awesome. These are getting to be a hard to find truck. I'm gonna try to list everything I know, but please ask if you have a question. First, the basics: This is a 1989, Gmc Sierra SLE. There's 198k on the truck. It's a crewcab, 4wd , long bed, single rear wheel. It has the 6.2L diesel motor in it with a 4-speed manual(sm465). This is a one ton (3500) truck. It has a Dana 60 front axle and a 14 bolt rear end both with 4:10 gears Now, for the good stuff. The motor is out of a military truck. It only has 27k miles on it. This truck was a diesel originally(civilain model). It also has a Banks turbo kit added on it. This kit is great. They are very rare and hard to find. It helps out alot. This motor really livened up with it. It has a K&N filter also. There's 3" exhaust running from the turbo back. This truck perfect. It needs nothing to be on the road as your daily driver. I get around 16-17 mpg's in town. On the highway, going about 65mph, it will get closer to 20mpg. There's a bunch of new parts under the hood too. Injector pump, (4) glow plugs, slave & master cylinder(clutch). Truck starts right up every time. The transmission feels great. It shifts perfectly. It does have the granny gear, so it's more like a 3-speed. I would drive this truck anywhere, as long as 70-75 mph was acceptable. I blacked out the wheels and the grill. I also tinted the taillights, cab lights, blinkers and markers. I think it looks great, very tough. But I understand that it's not everyones taste. All these parts can be replaced very easily and I have the stock replacements for most of them The interior of this truck looks very good. The only tears in the seat are in the driver seatback. It has vinyl bench seats front and rear. All the power windows work(some faster than others) and the power locks work. The radio also works. I just re-charged the a/c and it is working good. Honestly, everything on the truck functions and operates like it should. I drive this truck several times a week and it fires up and does anything I need it to. The "less than great" stuff. The bed has a few scratches and there's a run in the hood. It doesn't need a paint job, but a touch up or wax would look nice. It has an aftermarket cowl hood. It looks cool, but has some runs in the paint. Tires are about 25-35%. They are Maxxis mud tires (285/75/16). The paint inside the bed has peeled off. The only rust on the entire truck is a slight bit in the bed behind the passenger rear wheel. The dashboard is cracked at the speakers. I believe that's it. Not too bad. Overall, this is a fantastic truck. I looked at alot of gm crew cabs before buying this one. It's one of the cleanest, rust free trucks I've seen. As well as best running and hardest to find. There's alot of 454's out there. The diesels are very rare. Why have 8-9 mpgs when 16-20 are right here. These trucks range from $5,000-$15,000. Bid with confidence. I have a 100% feedback rating. This is a "no reserve auction". High Bidder or Buy it now, takes it home. Reserves are for trucks that can't stand on thier own. This truck has everything you need. I wouldn't hesitate to drive this truck anywhere. The reason I'm selling it is because I found a newer crew cab truck (99 Sierra) and I need to let this one go. I really hate to, as this truck was hard to find and I really love the way it looks. I looked on ebay as I listed this and only found one other like it, and it's a 454 dually. I do have a clean, registered title, in my name, in my hand. I am a private seller, so no taxes or doc fees. I will assist with shipping. I can meet up or deliver in some cases. Let me know and we can work that out. There is no warranty. Truck is sold "as is". $500 deposit is due at the end of auction. Remainder is due at pickup in form of money order, cash or certified check.
