1987 Thunderbird Turbo-Coupe 2.3L Turbo 4 cyl Intercooled / auto OD Trans built to take on the other 80s muscle cars from that era. Yet handle the bigger models too !! Turbo 4s where all the rage and this car is a nice unmolested example. VERY LOADED too and well optioned ! Very Rare Turbo Model / Great on Gas with plenty of power to get your around. Ive been known to school a few honda dweebs in my area with this bone stock Bird that was way ahead of its time. 75K Miles / LOW documented miles / AZ CAR with NO RUST Az documents its miles on our Titles to show proof. This is a BOX A title car ! Tires almost new all around Stock boost stock everything under the hood !! THIS CAR SHOULD REMAIN 100% stock if you want To keep a sound investment !!! Anyone buying it to mod up or make a racer out of it should have their head examined. I dont want to sell it, but just dont have the room to keep every car I want anymore. Engine runs and drives great ! ONLY issue is when the car is cold, it refused to idle !! Once it warms up about 5 min later, its fine. Not sure exactly why, we did check a few things but not everything yet. ABS Lite does come on when driving, but the brakes work and feel fine. NEW FUEL PUMP too. Electronic suspesion all original and intact. The car comes with the switch missing out of the dash. ORIGINAL PAINT !! yet baked in some areas no previous body damage or repairs or rust ! SANDLEWOOD EXTERIOR (pretty rare color) Tan cloth Interior INTERIOR: shows VERY nice and stock & original Carpet shows the most wear and tear rest of it is pretty clean and some of the parts that look to be missing (still come with the car) Windshield does have a crack. All the power options inside seem to work, yes. AC blews cool, not cold. But the flapper door that directs the air from vents to floor etc, needs to be fixed. Its only blowing on the floor at the moment. The stock radio and cassette are pretty choice. (haha) What you will see in the pics below is: Ive been all over and Under the car, and have pics to below to prove our claims. We really try to have realistic reserves on all of our auctions and want to sell cars, not sit on them for another year. LOTS OF PICS, it may take a full minute for them all to load if you have a slow connection, so be patient. This is a great car to restore 100% and would do so nicely. Or just fix a few things and drive it the way it is. Everytime I drive it, it draws a small crowd esp if I take it out cruising on a Saturday nite with the Tuner crowds. Most people never even knew these where made. It is an example of a era gone but very well respected. Remember: they arent making anymore :) My take is this has been in Az its whole life. If you treat yourself to buying one of our cars, youll never buy a rust bucket again from anyone !! Doing restoration on this type of project is less labor intensive which means overall cost is less too ! With less horrid surprises later on. VERY RUST FREE TURBO COUPE BIRD and prob one of the nicest and most original represented here on Ebay. I believe the paint to be factory still, so its showing some signs of age and wear and tear. IF this car had a nice paint job you can almost call it done. THE BEST REPRESENTED TBIRD TURBO ON EBAY HANDS DOWN !! Not sure if or when the timing belt was done, but those are cheap and easy to do. REAR BRAKES JUST DONE TOO !! WE DID INSTALL A NEW HP Fuel Pump in the FALL due to not driving IT for a few months, and the gas went bad, so it was time. FLY OUT AND DRIVE IT HOME !!! So there you have it, the pics show very well what to expect. IF you buy another TBIRD not as well represented, you are at your own risk.
