Vehicle Detail
You won't find a cleaner, great looking camaro with this many options and low miles to go along with it all. Up for auction is a 1991 bright red, Z-28 with 5.7L/350ci with automatic transmission, leather, power locks, power windows, power mirrors, and cold A/C. This camaro is in great condition and ready to go. The original paint on this car looks awesome, the leather interior looks great, comes with original floor mats, and the car runs great and is mechanically sound. I've always kept the car stored in the garage and never took it out in winter. There is no rust on the body of the car which makes me think it has never seen salt. With just 37,451 miles at listing time, you will be hard pressed to find another one like this. I've owned this car for eight years and bought it from an older gentleman who had bought it from the original owner. I think there was only 6080 of the 1991 camaros manufactured with the 5.7 liter engine plus it has leather and the rear window louver which would make it even more rare, and I love the color. If you are looking for a car like this you won't be disappointed with this one. I don't think this car was ever abused and everything is still original on the car. There are no dents or damage to the car and no mechanical issues. I would have said the car was in mint condition, but there are some minor things which are as follows. There are some small rock chips in the paint mostly on the front spoiler, front part of the hood and behind the rear tires. The CD/stereo is original but doesn't play a CD anymore. It tries but pops up an error on the display. The passenger side power mirror goes in and out, but not up and down. The muffler has a pretty good sized hole rusted through on one side. I was going to replace this muffler, but I thought the next owner might want something different so I left it alone. There is a small scratch on the hood and on the driver's door which I have posted pictures of. Also the rear hatch shocks seem a bit weak. They hold it up fine but seem a bit mushy. The car has a new battery. I've just replaced the heater core, and less than 1,000 miles ago I had the transmission flushed and filter changed and the rear end lube changed, both just as preventative maintenance. The tires are 245/50ZR16 Cooper Cobra ZHPs with a good amount of tread left on them. Also included is the louver and hardware to attach it to the rear window. I liked it better without the louver so it is not on at this time. There is also an owner's manual, plastic key, and an unopened cassette that describes the car's features. I ran this car frequently, but just tried to keep it nice and not put many miles on it. Reason for selling is I have a growing family and I don't have time to play with all my toys anymore. Call me at 309-208-1964 if you have any questions or would like to view the car. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
