They live in Florida during the winter and use this car during their annual 4 month stay in Maine every summer. They purchased this car in Florida and have garaged it every winter. As seen in the photos, the top cover boot comes with the car.On May-22-11 at 09:24:38 PDT, seller added the following information: Questions / Answers so far: 1. can u plz tell me if tires are weather cracked as like they sometimes do sitting at any length of time thank you again dale I did not see any cracking on the tires. I will admit, tires are my most favorite things to replace when buying a used car. New tires feel as cool as new sneakers when I was a kid. Grippy traction feels good! I would guess the current tires have another 15 to 20,000 miles left on them. can u or anybody look and see where the repaint is done to the car sometimes gotta look real close but it is noticeable thank you dale There is no evidence of repaint on the car. My parents have had no accidents and no need for paint. Was the vehicle purchased in 08? a title transfer can cause a car fax issue to crop up! The vehicle was purchased in on October 21, 2001 buy my Dad and step Mom. The current Florida title is dated November 11, 2001. Just after they bought the car, they had it shipped from Florida to Maine in May of 2002. It has been kept at their Maine residence ever since then. It was never driven to or ship to/through Georgia since May of 2002. The eBay incident report dated 1/6/2008 makes no sense to us. Except for the light scratches on the front faring, there has been no accident or injury to this car since their purchase in 2001. EBAY shows an accident issue in its carfax report? do you have any info regarding that? Is the car for sale locally in Maine? and is it available to be looked at or taken for an independent inspection? Please see info below regarding the incident report. The car is for sale locally in Maine; i.e. the car is in Cape Elizabeth right now. Yes, you may come take a look and bring it to an inspection source. 5. how bad was the accident and what part of car was involved thank you dale Dale, I asked my mother in law and she does not know anything about that incident report showing up on 1/6/2008 in Covington, GA. The car has not been in an accident while she has owned it. 6. Can you tell me what the nearest airport is to you? If I am the winning bidder, my husband and I may fly up and drive the vehicle home (to Florida....how ironic). OR, if your dad had the car shipped to Maine, is there a carrier he recommends?
